We at CPU Youth Basketball believe that playing sports, staying fit and working out is vital to the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. That’s why we decided to offer a local basketball program that caters to both beginner and seasoned athletes.

Our facilities have functioned as a recreational program for children grades 4-8 of Center Point and Urbana, Iowa. Join us today to become a part of our volunteer-led basketball program.

Mission Statement

At CPU Youth Basketball, our mission is to provide a positive and inclusive environment for young athletes to develop their basketball skills and love for the game while fostering lasting friendships.

Skill Development

Our coaches focus on individual skill development, helping each player improve their fundamentals, technique, and basketball IQ. We emphasize the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect, teaching our players valuable life skills both on and off the court.

Building Character

We strongly believe that good sportsmanship from the early stages of a player's development is essential for their lasting success. Our focus extends beyond teaching skilled players; we aim to shape responsible and respectful individuals who grasp the significance of ethical behavior.
